The Alternative School’s Eurobest trainings are starting next week, on the 20th of October, and you still have time to register!
This semester consists of 8 intensive meetings, dedicated to young marketers and creatives, motivated to represent Romania internationally at the Eurobest Young Integrated Competition, held this November.
SPEAKERS ANNOUNCED
Participants will have the chance to unlock the importance of identity & cultural insights in brand communication, from companies like Publicis Paris, 5dVR Cairo, The Doping Agency Yerevan, JAM by Hedayat, Red Apple Creativity Festival.
Understanding culture is the key to unlocking full, comprehensive consumer truths, beyond reliance on consumer input to help brands and marketers see a fuller picture of their consumer today, and in the future.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
Teodora Migdalovici is the founder of The Alternative School for Creative Thinking, but also of Love & LOBBY, a private diplomacy platform that aims to promote nations through their true values, away from stereotypes.

Filip Gonzancenco is one of the proud alumni of The Alternative School for Creative Thinking who made it big! In 2015, he won the local competition and became the Romanian representative for Cannes Young Lions 2015.

Part of his day to day is helping the Publicis network implement centrally developed strategies and the other half is making sure that their creative teams get the inspiration they need to craft great campaigns and experiences.
When not juggling those two things, he likes to dabble with trend research and reporting.[spacer height=”20px”]

Valeria Dubinina works as a Executive Producer for Red Apple International Advertising Festival in Moscow, Russia.
Curiosity and experimentation are what drive Valeria’s love for ideas. Ideas that connect people, brands that stand for something, and changes for better.
She’s interested in technology as means of building meaningful communities and bringing people together.
Valeria had already made projects such as Gaidar Forum, National Advertising Forum, Art Directors Club Russia Award.[spacer height=”20px”]

Isabella Brănișteanu launched Thinkegic in 2019, her own strategic consulting structure in the branding and new business area, helping companies to organize, reset or create their brands and develop relationships with their audiences, to the benefit of all parties involved: business, consumers, and community.

Bahia Shehab is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, historian, creative director, educator and activist based in Cairo, Egypt. Her work is concerned with identity and preserving cultural heritage. Through investigating Islamic art history, she reinterprets contemporary Arab politics, feminist discourse and social issues.
The Nefertiti’s Daughters documentary featuring her street artwork during the Egyptian uprising was released in 2015. Her work has received a number of international recognitions and awards; TED fellowship (2012) and TED Senior fellowship (2016), BBC 100 Women list (2013, 2014), Shortlist for V&A’s Jameel Prize 4 (2016), and a Prince Claus Award (2016).[spacer height=”20px”]

Hedayat Eslam established Jam Space UK in 2014, building on her 20 years of experience in residential and commercial interior design projects, as Eklego Design’s founding partner.
In 2015 Jam Space’s first pattern collection was launched. Her collections have since garnered media attention as well as been shortlisted for various awards.
Jam By Hedayat was launched in 2019 as a fresh platform, which strongly focusses on Interior Design projects in the UK and Europe. Jam By Hedayat prides itself on giving a white-gloved, highly personalised service and offering unique, customisable handmade products to their clients.[spacer height=”20px”]

Hovhannes Margaryan works as Creative Director and Partner for The Doping Creative Agency in Armenia. He is a graduate of The Russian-Armenian University (Faculty of Political Technology) and Yerevan State University of Theatre and Cinema (Faculty of Television Directing).
Ever since starting his career in advertising 13 years ago, he has been awarded with numerous local and international awards at festivals such as Red Apple, KIAF, Yerevan Outdoor Advertising Festival and Armenian PR Award Ceremony.[spacer height=”20px”]

Dedicated to people under 30 from all walks of marketing, branding and communication-related disciplines, this intensive training consisting of 6 meetings is focusing on creative design, digital marketing, business growth trends, VR, tech & new media, cultural & international insight and content that’s really worth watching!
The meetings are structured on the seminar + workshop model, where reputed guests will share the latest tips & tricks. Participants will work on briefs to train their brains for the upcoming international festival through finding new ways of approaching problems, useful in their daily projects.
TWO IN ONE
Within our current semester, two competitions will take place: one selecting 2 teams (4 participants in total) to represent Romania digitally at the Eurobest Integrated creativity contest this November and the other one, selecting a shortlist of 3 Romanian students (23 years old or younger) for the Roger Hatchuel Academy, taking place in Cannes, at The Lions, for a week, in 2021.
STAYING SAFE
