In the quest of The Best Young Marketer of the Year

 

 

The Alternative School to launch Young Marketers competition for Cannes Lions 2019

From 29th of November to January 15, 2019, the entries are open for the Young Marketers competition. The learning and competing platform is dedicated to young marketers under 30, with a real passion towards efficient and creative approach of communication.

The participation fee is €200 and the winning local team will compete in the Cannes Lions international Young Marketer category in 2019, against other best 30 teams from different countries.

At the beginning of February, the local competitors will solve an initial brief, followed by feedback and training from experts. After the first evaluation, in mid February, 12 finalist teams will receive a new brief to be solved in 48 hours, followed by a new feedback and training session.
The winning team, selected by an objective, relevant jury of experts, will attend the Young Lions competition in june 2019, in Cannes.

 

The Alternative School’s workshops will include analysis of the most interesting case studies awarded at Lions Festivals, with focus on efficiency, strategy, tech, emotional intelligence and creativity.
Speakers and those evaluating students’ work are elite members of the industry, former jurors or winners from Cannes Lions, Eurobest or Dubai Lynx.
In 2008, the Mobexpert team, competing for the Young Marketers title, won an Order of Merit.

The local team to represent Romania at Cannes 2019 will be financially supported by Media Concept Store, a full service ad agency active on Romanian market since 2010. Media Concept Store is also representing locally the “Product of The Year” competition. Nicoleta Padure, its managing director, was twice in the Lions juries, once in Eurobest and once in Dubai while their design Young Lions team won gold in the 48 hours competition, in Cannes.
